
AUTO TIME PREMIUM ACROSS MULTIPLE & REMOTE SITES
We have several options for company’s who operate across multiple and remote locations
depending on how you want to administrate the attendance software and where you want
to administrate it from -
But just for examples here are some common configurations ...
Company A has a head office in Basingstoke and five separate warehouses around the UK. All of the administration is done from head office and very little local control is required in the warehouses except for daily updates on clocking records.
Solution : The very simple solution for this configuration is to install the software in the head office at Basingstoke and one clocking terminal (any of our terminals) in each of the five warehouses. Connection to the five remote terminals can be via the company Wide Area Network, or if one is not available then by a standard telephone modem or wireless GPRS modem. The terminals would only require downloading once a day for perhaps one minute of comms time so any of these methods are very efficient.
Feedback to all five sites is done after downloading and consists of a series of daily reports emailed back to each site.
Company B is a recruitment agency and operates from their own main admin office with staff engaged at multiple client sites, these client sites can change on a regular basis and the clocking solution needs to be portable as contracts are won and lost from time to time.
Solution : Again we would install the software at their main admin office and for
portability would install any of our choice of clocking terminals, each fitted with
a GPRS wireless modem, these clocking terminals only require one standard 13amp socket
outlet and can be simply unplugged and removed to another site as and when required

Company C also operates from several remotes sites all around the UK but the information collected from the clocking terminals needs to be shared with users located in their offices in any part of the country, or indeed by any authorised person having internet access.
Solution : Each clocking site would have one of our “Envoy” upgraded clocking terminals each of which have an inbuilt GPRS wireless modem. Clockings made on any of these terminals are instantly uploaded to one of our secure web servers and stored in that clients account data store.
Anyone with the authorisation to do so can log onto their own attendance web site to view and edit either all or a selected group of employees, taking printouts from there as necessary. Because the data is stored on the web an authorised user can access it from anywhere, even at home ! Check that your night shift is safely logged on in your branch at the other end of the country !
